PERM P TIME Cardiac Physiologist Private Hospital BENS

P/T Cardiac Physiologist urgently required for a private hospital in the Leeds area. Dream Medical is working with a number of respected private hospitals in the Leeds area and urgently require a part-time Cardiac Physiologist.

• Working as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team
• Assist with day-to-day workload alongside Physiologists
• ECGs
• Physiologist-led exercise testing
• Ambulatory BP monitoring
• Ambulatory ECG monitoring and analysis
• Basic spirometry
• Echocardiography including Stress Echocardiography
• TOE in isolation or with PFO closure
• Basic cardiac angiography

• Hold BSE accreditation or be working towards this
• Previously held a minimum of band 6 or equivalent post in this area
• Confident and competent in autonomously producing Echocardiography reports in line with BSE guidelines
• Experience in specialist Echocardiography services such as Stress Echocardiography and TOE is essential; paediatric and congenital experience would be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and evidence of continuing professional development
• BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent (HNC/ONC)
• Registered with the RCCP

• Hours:
  
  20–24 per week
• Salary: £32,000–£35,000 per year (equivalent to NHS Band 7, dependent upon experience)
