Role overview
We are looking for a new Administrator to join our Leeds site. This role will be 24 hours per week over 3 days – every Saturday and two weekdays.
Role responsibilities- Ensure clinics are set up and patient appointments are fully utilised.
- Record and file appointment outcomes and maintain accuracy of all patient data, including liaising with GP surgeries, clinics and patients, ensuring that Newmedica’s electronic patient record is up-to-date.
- Act as the central point of contact for all telephone queries from both patients and clinic staff.
- Work within small teams to maintain and enhance processes to maximise quality and efficiency, delivering an effective administrative service to the clinic.
- Work without direct supervision while maintaining a professional manner; assist in booking appointments in a timely manner as per correct pathways; ensure operational and clinical governance protocols are maintained; healthcare and risk management standards are met while supporting the service and driving efficiency improvements.
- We’ll provide training so experience isn’t always needed, but the following are advantageous:
- Experience of working under own initiative
- Previous experience in a customer or patient facing role
- Experience in a busy administrative role
- A competent user of all Office 365 programmes
- Tech savvy and comfortable working on new systems e.g. patient record systems
- A good phone manner
- An excellent grasp of the English language both verbally and in written format
- A good team player – happy to jump in and support others when required
- A salary of £16,785.60
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (full time equivalent)
