The Role:
Market Access Specialist
Location - Anywhere in the UK (with some travelling involved)
In this pivotal role, you’ll support and shape value-based market access strategies that ensure patients, payers, and providers clearly understand the impact of our innovative medical solutions.
You'll work across cross-functional teams — collaborating with sales, marketing, and leadership — while directly influencing reimbursement pathways and economic value messaging.
Responsibilities- Supporting the General Manager and Sales Leaders with both upstream (HTAs, payers) and downstream (customer-level) activities.
- Driving value-focused strategies that go beyond features — focusing on outcomes, economics, and access.
- Using payer data insights to fuel account-level engagement and sales strategy.
- Managing and optimising Drug Tariff listings to ensure appropriate market visibility and accessibility.
- Building connections and alignment with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to support funding pathways.
- Developing impactful tools such as economic models, reimbursement dossiers, and training materials.
- Keeping your finger on the pulse — monitoring healthcare policy shifts, competitor strategies, and new opportunities.
- Working with KOLs and payers to strengthen strategic partnerships.
- Collaborating with marketing to craft creative campaigns that highlight our value proposition in compelling ways.
- A degree in Science, Economics, Medicine, Engineering or similar.
- European market experience needed.
- Knowledge of pricing, reimbursement, and NHS funding systems.
- Experience engaging with ICBs, payers, or working with HES data.
- A sharp commercial mindset and business acumen grounded in real-world results.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
- Previous work with medical devices in highly regulated or clinical environments.
- Any experience within urology, stoma or bowel areas.
- Background or education in health economics, HTA, or value-based healthcare (a big plus!).
