Job Summary
We offer an opportunity for a Band 7 Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our dynamic outpatient MSK service. This role will deliver expert patient‑centred care, improve access to advanced pathways, and shape innovative community rehabilitation models.

- Deliver advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessment and treatment within the outpatient service.
- Provide expert patient‑centred care to improve access to Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner pathways and reduce waiting times.
- Act as a role model for advanced practice across the MSK department.
- Support the Consultant Physiotherapist’s vision of developing community‑based rehabilitation groups and shifting delivery closer to home.
- Lead and contribute to audits, quality improvement and service development initiatives.
- Provide mentorship, supervision and structured training to junior staff and students.
- Uphold professional standards (HCPC, CSP, NHS) and maintain a strong CPD portfolio.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and service‑wide initiatives.
Essential
- A minimum of 4 years post‑graduate experience across a variety of specialities.
- Experience of supervising junior staff or students.
- Experience of delegating to qualified/unqualified staff.
- Experience of audit.
- Committed to personal and team development.
- Forward‑thinking, reliable, flexible, confident and enthusiastic.
- Ability to meet travel requirements of the post.
Desirable
- Experience at Band 7 level.
- Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Evidence of relevant postgraduate courses or CPD, maintained in portfolio.
- Minimum of 4 years post‑graduate experience across a variety of specialities.
- Experience supervising junior staff or students.
- Experience delegating to qualified/unqualified staff.
- Experience conducting audits.
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check required.
- Applications requiring Skilled Worker Sponsorship will be considered.
- Current UK professional registration is required.
