The post would consist of a weekly commitment of 3 all‑day cath lab sessions which would include assessment and evaluation of patients undergoing device procedures, performing device procedures under supervision and being involved in post‑procedure device management.

In addition there would be a weekly commitment of one heart failure clinic (focussed around complex devices), as well as opportunities to lead on clinical service development, research and the local box change MDT pathway.

The post‑holder will be encouraged to attend relevant courses and meetings throughout the year as appropriate and to submit research posters or clinical cases.
