Overview

Senior Occupational Therapist role at Tie Talent
. This multisite position covers four complex care services in West Yorkshire:
Ravensdale Care Home (Leeds), Copperfields Care Home (Leeds), Hillside Court Care Home (Leeds) and Wykewood Care Home (Bradford).

Location:

Multisite across the West Yorkshire region. Contract type:
Full time – Monday to Friday. Rate: £40,000 per annum.

About the role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you’ll support our residents with a high-quality occupational therapy service throughout their journey with us. You’ll empower them and maximise their independence. You’ll lead and supervise Junior Therapists or Therapy Assistants across the homes you support to ensure delivery of evidence-based, high-quality therapy and rehabilitation. You’ll build relationships with the people you support, and see the progress they make through ongoing care, which is extremely rewarding.

Responsibilities
  • Being responsible for a clinical caseload
  • Working alongside the people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions
  • Collaborating closely with the Therapy Team (Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators)
  • Carrying out assessments
  • Maintaining accurate records for people receiving occupational therapies
  • Promoting choice, dignity and independence
