Job Summary

Practice Plus Group’s Health in Justice service line is expanding into non‑custodial healthcare. We are looking for a Crown Court Practitioner to assess and support service users’ mental health and neurodiversity needs in West Yorkshire.

Hours
:
Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm

Salary
: £51,624 – £58,011 (full time, depends on experience)

Location
:
Bradford Crown Court

• Assess the mental health and neurodiverse needs of service users in contact with the criminal justice system and appearing at Crown Court.
• Communicate recommendations and reasonable adjustments to court staff.
• Support service users through the court process, providing advice and information to aid decision‑making.
• Attend, chair and facilitate healthcare meetings with team and external stakeholders, providing clinical supervision as required.

• Customisable induction including the Introducing Health in Justice training course.

• Registered Nurse or Social Worker with current UK professional registration (NMC or Social Work Registration).

• Good IT skills and computer literacy.
