Main duties of the jobAs the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Aire View Care Home in Leeds, your focus will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well‑being, while promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment.
Your responsibilities will include identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents; planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans; arranging activities and events; and maintaining a safe living and working environment.

Shift details:
Monday to Sunday
- Identifying the life history, needs and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
- Planning and submitting to the Home Manager a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
- Arranging activities, events and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives and visitors.
- Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
To be successful in your application, you must live our values of caring, support, honesty, respect and accountability in all that you do.
- Previously worked with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.
- Experience organising activities and events.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
- A positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
- ADBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
