Job Summary:
At Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) we aspire to deliver world class care to the communities we serve. We currently have a permanent opportunity within our A&E Operational Support Coordinator team, based in West Yorkshire. The successful post holder will cover all locations within West Yorkshire, ensuring that provision is available five days per week to support the leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who can provide administrative support to the management team by contributing to a diverse range of tasks.
- Act as an effective communication link between the A&E Operational Management team, stakeholders, patients, and the public, dealing with complex, sensitive, and confidential information.
- Establish and develop good working relationships with the wider A&E Operations department and support service departments.
- Produce letters, reports and provide analytical support to the A&E Operations Management team as required.
- Independently reply to/action correspondence for standard processes such as estates issues, compliments and departmental queries.
- Coordinate the collation of information and run analysis reports as required.
- Diary management for the A&E Operations Management Team where requested.

- Educated to NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience in similar areas of work
- Significant experience of working in a busy office environment in a similar role.
- Experience in preparation of general correspondence and management reports
- Decisive and clear with ability to work unsupervised using own initiative and demonstrates flexibility to respond to different work environments
- Time management skills to prioritise conflicting workload demands of self and team with ability to multitask
