Deputy Home Manager - Adult Residential Services

Salary: £14.10 per hour

Hours: 40 per week

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

We're recruiting for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to support the day-to‑day running of a residential service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

This service provides high‑quality, person‑centred care to a small group of individuals, with a strong focus on independence, dignity, and meaningful outcomes.

As Deputy Manager, you'll be supporting the Registered Manager with the smooth running of the home, leading the care team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a high‑quality environment for both residents and staff.

• Supporting with the leadership and operational management of the service
• Acting as a positive role model for staff and service users
• Ensuring care is delivered to the highest quality and in line with individual care plans
• Assisting with rotas, supervisions, staff development, and recruitment
• Leading shifts and stepping in when the Registered Manager is absent
• Supporting audits, inspections, and continuous service improvement

• Experience in a similar Deputy or Senior Support role within adult social care
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding protocols
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
• A caring and proactive attitude with a commitment to person‑centred care
• Ability to work flexibly and take the lead when required
