About the Role
We are seeking a Recovery Coordinator to join a recovery-focused service supporting adults aged 18 and over in the Leeds area. This is a rewarding opportunity to coordinate and deliver person-centred support, helping people regain independence, confidence and stability during difficult periods in their lives. Working as part of a multidisciplinary, rota-based team, you will hold a caseload, develop and review personalised recovery plans, and support individuals to work towards their personal goals.
WhatYou'll Do
- Coordinate and deliver person-centred support for adults accessing the service.
- Hold and manage a caseload, acting as a key worker for individuals on your roster.
- Develop, implement and review personalised support and recovery plans.
- Help people maintain their independence and develop practical life skills.
- Encourage and support access to education, employment, leisure and community opportunities.
- Assist with developing domestic, budgeting and tenancy-management skills.
- Build positive and professional relationships with people using the service.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partner agencies.
- Participate in a rota system, including evenings, weekends and on-call duties where required.
- Contribute to a supportive, respectful and empowering environment for recovery.
- Experience in a health, social care or support setting (recovery, mental health or substance use desirable).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.
- The ability to manage a caseload and coordinate support effectively.
- Someone who thrives under pressure and can remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
- A positive and recovery-focused mindset.
- A flexible team player who can also work independently when needed.
- An understanding of mental health and/or substance use issues; lived experience is welcomed, although full training will be provided.
- Commitment to working within a rota system, including flexibility for shift work and on-call duties.
- 27 days' annual leave, rising to 32 after 1 year (plus bank holidays).
