Responsibilities

  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting changes and ensuring care plans are updated.
  • Participate in person‑centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating monthly.
  • Support residents with medication requirements.
  • Conduct staff supervision and support staff development as needed.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, handling reasonable requests and escalating concerns or complaints.
    • Requirements
    • DBS Disclosure check – cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
    • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
    • NVQ3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
    • Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
