Are you a compassionate and inspiring leader with a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex conditions? Our client, a well-established provider of supported living services, is seeking a dedicated Support Team Leader / Service Manager to oversee a 6-bed supported living service in Leeds.
What you'll be doing:
* Leading and motivating a committed team to deliver high-quality care and support
* Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and independence of service users
* Managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, compliance, and service development
* Building strong relationships with service users, families, and external agencies
* Promoting a positive, inclusive, and person-centred culture within the service
What you'll bring:
* Proven experience in leading supported living or similar adult social care services
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A genuine passion for empowering individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and compliance standards
Essential skills and qualifications:
* Experience managing teams in adult social care settings
* Ability to handle complex needs with empathy and professionalism
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Desired skills and qualifications:
* Leadership or management qualification in social care (e.g., Level 3 or above)
* Knowledge of learning disabilities, mental health, and physical disabilities
