Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: LS10 , Leeds
Pay: £14.50 p/h
Shifts: 08:00- 14:00 on weekdays and 10:00-22:00 on weekends

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking a Female Care Assistant to support a female service user with Williams Syndrome and complex healthcare needs in her own home and within the community. Full clinical training and competency sign-off will be provided.
The service user is a friendly, sociable young lady who enjoys shopping, cinema visits, make-up, sensory activities, using her iPad and spending time with her family and pets
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing person-centred care and emotional support.
- Supporting community access, social activities and appointments.
- Assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence.
- Supporting and monitoring specialist clinical interventions following training.
- Supporting with Parenteral Nutrition (PN/TPN) routines and associated care plans.
- Assisting with gastrostomy, jejunostomy, ileostomy and urostomy care following competency sign-off.
- Monitoring for signs of illness, infection or changes in health and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Following detailed care plans, risk assessments and clinical guidance.
- Maintaining accurate records and effective communication with the wider care team
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable working in a family home with dogs
