Tribeca House, Leeds Service Delivery Manager – Occupational Therapy Teams Do you want to use your occupational therapy leadership to make everyday life safer, easier and promote independence for people?

We’re looking for a Service Delivery Manager to lead and manage the delivery of specialist services to adults with physical or sensory impairment, and their carers, promoting prevention, inclusion and independence. The role plays a key part in leading and developing the occupational therapy service in line with high‑quality professional practice, ensuring consistent standards across adult social care.

This is a permanent role for a HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist, offering the chance to shape services, support and develop managers, and work with partners across health, housing and the voluntary sector to improve outcomes for people who need adaptations and specialist rehabilitation.

The Role As Service Delivery Manager, you’ll lead occupational therapy across adult social care, helping us provide a consistent, timely and fair services for people who need equipment, home adaptations, mobility support and specialist input related to visual impairment.

You’ll provide clinical leadership, supervision and development for a range of Occupational Therapy Managers, and you’ll help set the standard for professional practice, coaching managers so they can support their teams to do their best work.

Working alongside senior leaders, you’ll help us strengthen practice, improve quality and keep people at the centre of decisions—so residents receive the right support, at the right time, in a way that promotes independence.

Key Responsibilities Lead and develop occupational therapy and visual impairment rehabilitation services, using supervision, learning and quality checks to support excellent practice.

Make sure our practice meets professional and legal standards (including HCPC standards, Royal College of Occupational Therapists guidance and the Care Act 2014).Drive service improvement, performance and quality—setting clear priorities and plans that support our adult social care strategy and service priorities.

Lead, inspire and support a diverse workforce of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation Officers—championing strengths‑based, person‑centred practice.

Work closely with partners in the NHS, housing and the voluntary sector to improve pathways and deliver effective minor and major home adaptations.

Support fair decision‑making by contributing to the independent panel that reviews appeals about home adaptations.

Lead workforce planning, recruitment and retention, and manage the minor works budget to make sure resources are used well and transparently.

Work alongside the head of service to plan for the future, strengthen retention and create clear development opportunities for staff.

Handle complex enquiries and complaints, and review appeals about Disabled Blue Badge decisions.

Professional leadership and partnership working

You’ll build strong relationships with occupational therapy leads across health and social care in Leeds and the wider region—sharing learning, solving problems together and helping to raise the profile of occupational therapy.

You’ll also stay up to date with changes in legislation and best practice, using this knowledge to strengthen how we support people to live independently.
