Are you ready for an exciting adventure in the heart of Leeds? We are on the lookout for an innovative and proactive Recovery Coordinator to join our team for a two-month locum position. This role offers the perfect opportunity to make a real difference in the field of substance misuse. With a competitive hourly rate of £22.00 and the chance to work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, you will have the perfect work-life balance.

What you will do
  • Manage a caseload of individuals accessing drug and alcohol treatment services. This includes undertaking assessments, care planning, reviews, and delivering recovery-focused interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely service user records on the CRiiS system, ensuring compliance with information governance and contractual requirements.
  • Deliver structured keywork sessions, motivational interventions, harm reduction advice, relapse prevention support, and recovery planning.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safeguarding activities, escalating concerns in accordance with local procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, Substance Misuse, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant training in substance misuse, safeguarding, motivational interviewing, or recovery-focused practice.
  • A Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field is desirable.
Key Skills
  • Proficient use of the CRiiS case management system.
  • Extensive experience in case management and recovery planning.
  • Proven experience working within substance misuse, addiction recovery, criminal justice, mental health, homelessness, or related support services.
  • Demonstrable experience using CRiiS to record interventions, update care plans, and monitor recovery outcomes.
