THE ROLE
A growing medical device business is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support the introduction and adoption of an innovative therapy within the NHS. This is an endoscopically delivered device so theatre experience is advantageous.
This is a market development-focused position, responsible for identifying and developing clinical users, establishing relationships across multidisciplinary teams, developing referral pathways and engaging with procurement and relevant healthcare organisations to support funding pathways.
Once new sites are established, you will take ownership of those relationships within your territory, providing ongoing account management, customer support and training for clinical users and wider MDTs.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven medical device sales and new market development experience/ideally surgical experience
- Experience launching a new therapy, technology or medical device
- Understanding of NHS procurement and funding processes
- Experience working with clinical stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
- Background within bariatric, gastroenterology, endoscopy, diabetes, endocrinology or hepatology advantageous
- Candidates should be based in the north of England
THE PACKAGE
- £60,000-£70,000 basic salary
- 30%+ bonus
- £1,000 monthly car allowance

The business is developing innovative technology designed to provide clinicians and patients with an alternative treatment option within an area of significant and growing healthcare within bariatrics. This is an opportunity to join at an early stage of UK market development, with scope to play a key role in establishing adoption across the NHS.
