Support Worker - Driver

We are seeking warm, reliable and committed Support Workers to join the team at our Supported Living Services in Astley Bridge, Horwich, Breightmet and Tonge Fold, Bolton. We provide person-centred care and support to enable people with a learning disability to enjoy active and fulfilled lives. The role will involve providing personal care and personalized support, helping to improve health and wellbeing, develop their quality of life and independence.

You will support individuals with activities both in their home and in Bolton’s wider community, helping to build connections and relationships. You will enable individuals to make choices, have control over their lives and enjoy opportunities for personal development. The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
Kindness and compassion Enthusiasm and creativity A respectful, inclusive approach A diligent and conscientious attitude The ability to work positively in a team The courage the question and challenge when needed Commitment to enable the people we support to achieve their goals Willingness to keep learning and developing your own practice An effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills You will be required to work on a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

A clean, valid UK driving license is essential for this role. As you will be required to support individual with chosen activities in the community and drive their own vehicles.
