Job Description & How to Apply Below

As a Hospital Receptionist at Spire Leeds Hospital, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Your friendly demeanour and professionalism will set the tone for all interactions, creating a welcoming atmosphere that is essential in a healthcare setting. You will be responsible for greeting patients, answering their queries, and providing accurate information regarding appointments, services, and directions within the hospital.

In addition to front-of-house responsibilities, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the hospital's administrative functions. This includes managing phone calls, maintaining appointment schedules, and ensuring that patient records are updated accurately. Your attention to detail will ensure that all information is processed correctly and promptly, contributing to the efficient running of the hospital.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals across various departments to ensure that patient care is prioritised. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively will be crucial in understanding the needs of both patients and staff alike.

What makes this opportunity even more appealing is the chance to work with a company that values its employees and promotes a culture of respect and professionalism. Spire Healthcare Ltd is known for its commitment to providing high-quality patient care, and as a Hospital Receptionist, you will be at the forefront of this mission.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. While previous experience in a reception or administrative role is preferred, a strong desire to learn and grow within the healthcare industry is equally important.

Please note that this is a temporary position; however, it presents an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and understanding of the healthcare sector. If you are looking for a short‑term role that offers you valuable experience while contributing to the wellbeing of patients, this role is for you!

The role is temporary, with a start date of 16th October 2026 and will conclude on the same day. The shifts for this role will commence at 08:00 AM and finish at 09:00 PM. With a payment rate of £143.20 per shift, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a respected healthcare provider while gaining valuable experience in a hospital environment.
