DescriptionThis Compliance Manager role sits within the Energy sector and is based in Leeds. The role involves:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Manage a team of three risk & compliance professionals
- Lead on Ofgem compliance
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Monitor and assess compliance risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance-related matters.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and legislative changes in Energy & Natural Resources.
- Collaborate with legal and operational teams to address compliance issues effectively.
- Prepare and deliver compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors.
A successful Compliance Manager in Energy should have:
- A strong educational background in law, business, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in compliance within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
- Exceptional organisational and analytical skills to manage compliance processes effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £90,000 per annum.
