Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality people service within a professional legal environment. This is a broad and influential role, combining strategic HR leadership with operational delivery to support the firm's continued growth and success.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will develop and implement people strategies while ensuring the effective day-to-day management of all HR activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach.

We are open to applications from candidates seeking either full‑time or part‑time hours.

• Partnering with the CEO and CFO on people strategy and organisational development
• Manage the HR team
• Leading recruitment, onboarding and talent attraction initiatives
• Managing employee relations, performance management and casework
• Reviewing and developing HR policies, procedures and best practice
• Driving employee engagement, wellbeing and retention
• Overseeing HR compliance and employment legislation
• Providing coaching and guidance to managers on all people matters
• Lead on the implementation of a new HRIS

You’ll be an experienced HR professional with excellent commercial awareness and the confidence to work closely with senior leadership.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience in a standalone or senior HR role
• Experience with in professional services or a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery
• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience

This is a permanent role offering c £65,000 - £70,000 per annum.
