Senior Associate

An exciting opportunity for an Employment Senior Associate in Leeds to join a highly regarded international law firm and advise major corporate and financial institution clients across the UK and overseas. You will work on employment matters with an international dimension, while developing client relationships and delivering commercially focused solutions.

The Employment Senior Associate will be:

• * Advising corporate and financial institution clients on complex employment matters
• * Handling employment claims, projects and corporate transactions
• * Advising on senior executive recruitment, termination and remuneration arrangements
• * Advising on bonus disputes, team moves and restrictive covenant matters
• * Working with clients on consultation exercises
• * Advising on benefit redesign and global mobility projects
• * Working closely with international colleagues on multi jurisdictional matters

• * Contributing to the continued development and profile of the employment practice

The Employment Senior Associate should be:

• * A solicitor with 5 years PQE plus
• * Experienced in advising employers on a broad range of employment matters
• * Comfortable handling complex and high value employment work
• * Experienced in contentious and non contentious employment matters
• * Able to build relationships with sophisticated corporate clients
• * Comfortable working on matters with an international or cross border dimension
• * A strong communicator with excellent drafting and analytical skills

• * Interested in developing their career within a global law firm in Leeds

• Salary between £78,000 and £90,000
