Advisor, HR​/Recruitment, HR Generalist ​/ Talent Management

Abbey Multi Academy Trust is seeking an experienced and approachable People Advisor to join our central People team on a temporary basis to provide maternity cover. This is a varied generalist role supporting leaders, managers and colleagues across our academies with practical, timely and accurate people advice.

• Act as a first point of contact for people-related queries and provide clear advice on policies, procedures and terms and conditions
• Support employee relations casework including absence management, investigations, hearings and occupational health referrals
• Support recruitment, safer recruitment checks, onboarding and induction
• Complete accurate people, payroll and pension administration and make effective use of our people systems

Work collaboratively with managers and People Services team colleagues to provide a consistent and responsive service across the Trust, you will be

• An experienced people or HR adviser with sound generalist knowledge across the employee life cycle
• A clear and confident communicator who can build positive working relationships at all levels
• Organised, accurate and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality
• Practical, approachable and able to work with empathy and sound judgement
• CIPD qualified at Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum. Level 5 is desirable

SO2, SCP 26-28, £38,510 - £40,444

Pro rata subject to the agreed working pattern

Working Hours
Full time, 37 hours per week. Flexibility over working hours is available and part-time applications will be considered. Actual salary will be adjusted accordingly. Hybrid working will be considered.
