West Yorkshire Police is seeking one customer-focused HR Operations Advisor to join its People Directorate. You will provide advice and support across a range of HR processes, ensuring accurate and timely administration of internal recruitment, policy queries, and employment changes.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR policy queries, offering guidance and signposting to relevant procedures.
- Administrate internal recruitment processes, including pre-employment checks, contract preparation, and onboarding of internal applicants.
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems, including updates related to organisational change, maternity, and reasonable adjustments.
- Support pay-related appeals and coordinating officer/staff movements, including acting up and temporary promotions.
- Ensure all employment changes are communicated to relevant stakeholders such as payroll and local management.
- Experience in HR administration and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret and apply HR policies and procedures.
- Previous experience of using systems to obtain management information.
- Basic knowledge of recruitment processes and onboarding activities.(Desirable)
- Working towards or holding a Level 3 CIPD qualification.(Desirable)
