Octavius are looking to recruit a Talent Sourcer

At Octavius, our people are the foundation of everything we achieve. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented and curious Talent Sourcer to join our high-performing Talent Team.

This is an opportunity to help identify Octavius' future talent, building pipelines, uncovering hard-to-find candidates and supporting hiring in talent-short markets.

Working alongside experienced Talent Partners and Talent Co-ordinators, you'll learn a key part of the People function while helping shape the future workforce of our business.

Whether you're a recruiter, graduate, apprentice, returner to work, or simply someone with a passion for people and talent, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in a forward-thinking Talent team.

This isn't a traditional recruitment role. It's an opportunity to become a talent intelligence specialist, helping Octavius understand where talent exists, how to engage it and how to build sustainable pipelines for the future.

You’ll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

As a Talent Sourcer, you'll focus on finding, engaging and building relationships with great people before a vacancy even exists.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Researching talent markets and mapping key skillsets across our sectors.
  • Identifying and engaging active and passive candidates through a range of sourcing channels.
  • Building and maintaining talent pools for current and future hiring needs.
  • Producing quality candidate longlists to support hiring across the business.
  • Using Linked In, job boards, networking platforms and AI-enabled tools to uncover hard-to-find talent.
  • Supporting diversity, equity and inclusion objectives through inclusive sourcing strategies.
  • Providing market insight on talent availability, skills shortages and competitor activity.
  • Promoting Octavius as an employer of choice through candidate engagement and attraction campaigns.
  • Maintaining accurate candidate records within our ATS and talent systems.
  • Exploring new technologies, sourcing techniques and AI-driven efficiencies to strengthen our direct hiring capability.
You’ll receive…. (because we value you)

You’ll join a supportive, ambitious and innovative Talent Team that is passionate about delivering great hiring outcomes.

We offer a competitive rewards package, Private Healthcare, Pension, Life Assurance, 25 days Annual Leave and a day off for your birthday.

You’ll also benefit from hybrid working (two days per week in one of our offices in Winchester, Swindon, London, Reigate, Dartford, Hatfield or Manchester and three days from home), enhanced Paternity and Maternity benefits, and excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.

We believe in investing in people and helping them reach their potential. You’ll receive:

  • The opportunity to learn a key part of the People and Talent function.
  • Support and mentoring from experienced Talent professionals.
  • Training in sourcing methodologies, technology and AI-enabled recruitment practices.
  • The chance to influence how Octavius attracts and hires talent.
  • A collaborative environment where ideas are welcomed and encouraged.
  • A role with genuine impact on the future growth of the business.
About you…. (what you are skilled at)

You will have experience in either:

  • Recruitment agency environments.
  • In-house Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
  • Talent research or candidate sourcing.
You’ll bring… (your wealth of experience & qualifications)
  • A genuine interest in people and recruitment.
  • Curiosity and a passion for research and problem solving.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and engage with people.
  • Confidence using technology and an interest in AI and digital tools.
