TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

£43,000 – 45,000 + Car + Benefits
A leading packaging manufacturing business is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join its UK operation. With over a century of expertise, the business partners with globally recognised brands, delivering high-quality, sustainable packaging products to the food and drink/beverage industry.
Sustainability sits at the heart of the organisation. As a producer of fully recyclable packaging materials, the company operates within a forward-thinking, environmentally responsible sector that continues to grow in importance worldwide.
This is a customer-facing role responsible for managing and delivering the technical service offering across a portfolio of accounts.
The Role
Acting as a key technical contact for customers, you will play a vital part in building, developing and maintaining strong partnerships. You will provide expert technical support, ensure product performance meets expectations, and collaborate internally to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage technical service delivery across a portfolio of customer accounts
Build proactive, long-term customer relationships
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance product and packaging performance
Respond to and resolve technical queries effectively and efficiently
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to meet customer requirements
Travel as required to support customer and business needs
About You
We are looking for a motivated, customer-centric professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.
You will ideally have:
Experience in account management within a technical or manufacturing setting
The ability to identify product or process improvement opportunities
A technical background (experience within packaging, or manufacturing is advantageous but not essential — full training will be provided)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence in decision-making and handling challenging situations
The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
