The Role

We are looking for a Vehicle Data Editor to join the cap hpi New Vehicle Data Team. Cap hpi products have been used by motor trade professionals for over 75 years, our extensive dataset and unique understanding of the automotive market help businesses of all shapes and sizes manage risk and increase profit.

As a Vehicle Data Editor you will be responsible for processing vehicle data within defined service levels and quality standards. The core process consists of creating unique industry codes when a new vehicle comes to market and adding and maintaining the data associated with that vehicle (e.g., pricing, equipment, technical data etc). You will develop strong relationships with vehicle manufacturers and other key internal stakeholders.

The role will also involve the linking of other industry codes to cap codes, assisting in resolving complex customer queries and other scheduled tasks in order to support the team.

  • Process all vehicle updates within the team service level agreements
  • Have a strong eye for detail and a commitment to providing a quality product for our customers
  • Support the team in other dependent activities e.g., code linking, customer queries etc.
  • Build strong relationships with manufacturers and other internal stakeholders
