Role: Software Engineering Manager
Salary: Up to £110,000
WFH: Once per quarter in-office, Central London

Our client is a technology company delivering AI-first revenue optimization tools to the hospitality sector. Operating independently within a well-funded and fast-paced environment, they are now hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead their Platform team, responsible for the infrastructure and automation that powers advanced ML-driven pricing models used by hotels worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small, high-performing engineering team
  
  * Own and evolve the infrastructure that supports AI/ML predictions at scale
  
  * Collaborate with Data Science teams to improve model deployment workflows
  
  * Drive technical architecture to ensure platform performance and reliability
  
  * Stay hands-on with Python, Kubernetes, and GCP
  
  * Maintain high development standards, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines
  
  * Work cross-functionally with product and science teams to deliver business value

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of engineering leadership, ideally in platform or infrastructure teams
  
  * Strong technical foundation in cloud-native environments (GCP, Kubernetes)
  
  * Proficient in Python, particularly within data science or ML contexts
  
  * Ability to engage in technical discussion with Data Science teams
  
  * Experience building scalable and resilient systems
  
  * Hands-on technical leader who engineers look up to
  
  * Strong communicator with a collaborative and proactive mindset
