DATA ENGINEER | London | Insurance Domain — Delivery Team Lead at i3® Agile Recruitment & Consulting Solutions for the Age of Intelligence. This role supports the London Office as part of a team building a next-gen data warehouse, powerful integrations, and insightful Power BI solutions to support Underwriting, Claims, and Operations, with a global reach.

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, proactive in communication, an independent problem-solver, and a team player with a deep understanding of insurance data (especially within the syndicate and company markets).

• Collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer and Business Analysts to deliver data solutions that meet evolving business needs.
• Design and develop a data warehouse using star schema modelling.
• Build seamless internal and external integrations.
• Develop impactful Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Provide ongoing data support and drive reconciliation processes.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and produce clear documentation.

• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL experience
• Deep understanding of data warehouse modelling
• Experience with Azure Fabric, Pipelines, Dev Ops, and Git
• Solid grasp of application data modelling and data integration

• Strong background in the insurance domain – particularly London Market business
• Comfortable working with syndicate and company market data

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong documentation and organisational capabilities
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes
