Overview

Leeds Beckett University is an exciting, modern University in one of the most vibrant student cities in the UK. Within the University there is a strong, centralised IT department with a remit to deliver forward looking and creative solutions in support of learning and teaching, and of the student experience.

To help us provide support the university we are currently looking for an experienced, talented, and enthusiastic person to take up the role of Service Desk Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-skilled team, playing a key role in the delivery of expert technical support and exceptional customer service.

The post holder will be responsible for expert IT and AV technical and customer support and would be expected to assist in the delivery of various projects. This will involve working with the wider Digital Services department and with other key stakeholders, to ensure the best possible experience to all our customers.

The ideal candidate will have proven customer service and technical support experience within an enterprise environment and be confident with approaching IT and AV related problems also. Experience of working within a university or comparable complex organisation is a pre-requisite as is good knowledge of IT Service Management processes.

The role requires strong customer service and technical IT and AV support skills. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills are essential with a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
