This is a senior, technology-driven Programme Manager opportunity focused on delivering a large-scale retail transformation. You'll sit at the centre of a complex, multi-year technology change programme, modernising platforms, data, and infrastructure to support a national retail operation. This permanent, full-time Programme Manager role in Leeds offers hybrid working, senior stakeholder exposure, and the chance to influence strategic technology decisions at scale.
- Lead a portfolio of interdependent, technology-led projects within a major retail transformation programme.
- Ensure programme delivery aligns with technology strategy and wider business objectives.
- Own programme-level governance, reporting, and executive stakeholder communication.
- Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, technology roadmaps, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, data, infrastructure, and digital platforms.
- Manage technology risks, dependencies, and architectural considerations across the programme.
- Monitor programme performance against agreed KPIs, milestones, and outcomes.
- Drive technology-led decision-making to resolve issues and remove delivery blockers.
- Manage substantial programme budgets with strong commercial and financial control.
- Engage confidently with senior leaders, including Director and C-suite stakeholders.
- Operate effectively across traditional and agile technology delivery environments.
- Strong background in retail or large-scale consumer-facing technology environments.
- Proven delivery across areas such as infrastructure, data platforms, and digital transformation.
- Experience working within regulated or highly governed organisations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
- Confident presenter with the ability to translate technical delivery into business outcomes.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage challenging stakeholder conversations.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing large technology budgets.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels as required.
- Salary of £80k - £100k depending on experience.
