SEO Strategist

Overview

This role is for an experienced SEO Strategist to shape and deliver search strategies that drive measurable growth across diverse clients and industries. The candidate should have a strong grasp of SEO fundamentals and emerging trends, and be able to lead campaigns end-to-end while collaborating with creative, technical, and content teams.

• Design and implement effective SEO strategies across technical, content, on-site and off-site areas.
• Work closely with internal teams (content, PR, UX, creative, data) to ensure cohesive, audience-focused campaigns.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, analyse results and adapt tactics where needed.
• Apply forward-looking SEO techniques, including optimisation for generative search, AI-driven results, and multi-platform visibility (Google, Bing, Tik Tok, You Tube, Reddit, Amazon, Pinterest, and voice search).
• Use insights from query behaviour and audience journeys to build content clusters and capture multiple search intents.
• Share expertise with colleagues, support SEO executives and contribute to knowledge-sharing across departments.
• Stay up to date with algorithm updates, platform developments and emerging tools, bringing innovation to client campaigns.

• Proven experience leading SEO strategies with measurable impact within an agency setting.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Comfortable navigating both established SEO principles and new search environments (AI, GEO, platform-specific content).
• Collaborative approach, able to guide, support and inspire team members.
• Proactive, curious and adaptable – always looking for smarter ways to achieve visibility and results.
