SEO Performance Specialist We are looking for an SEO Performance Specialist! If you're a data-driven digital marketer with a passion for SEO and performance this key role, you'll drive organic visibility, lead generation, and strategic growth, making a measurable impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking digital team. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and our external SEO agency to deliver ambitious organic performance targets, while helping shape the future of Howdens' digital presence.

Senior Performance Marketing Manager
- Lead and execute Howdens' SEO strategy to drive organic growth, visibility, and design appointment leads.
- Act as the bridge between marketing, content, analytics, product, and brand teams to embed SEO best practices across all digital activity.
- Manage the day-to-day performance of the external SEO agency, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee technical SEO improvements, including crawl analyses, structured data, redirects, and site optimisations.
- Conduct keyword research and guide content creation to maximise search visibility and engagement.
- Maintain and deliver a technical SEO roadmap aligned with organic growth objectives.
- Monitor SEO performance using SEOClarity, GA4, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog, and report key insights to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align SEO with paid media, content, and merchandising strategies.
- Champion SEO across the organisation, promoting best practices and demonstrating the impact of SEO on business performance.
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing SEO in a large eCommerce or lead-generation environment.
- Proven track record of driving measurable growth in organic traffic and leads.
- Strong understanding of both on-page and technical SEO.
- Experience managing external SEO agencies and leading cross-functional SEO projects.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEOClarity, Google Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Data-driven mindset, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach.
- Curious, proactive, and passionate about SEO innovation.
- Collaborative, commercially astute, and confident in championing best practices across teams.
- Experience with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore).
- Data analysis skills using Excel, Looker Studio, or Python.
