Senior Specialist - Production IT Infrastructure & Security Support
- Arla Foods UK
- Leeds

Do you have a background in Production IT and strong experience in Information Security? Are you able to take regional responsibility for steering and clearly articulating Production IT business needs and direction to senior stakeholders? Then we are looking for you!

Join our new regional teams driving and uplifting our Production IT and Security posture across all End-to-End Supply Chain sites. Together with other regional leads, you will support Europe’s largest dairies through implementation and maintenance plans—standardising and uplifting Production IT solutions and security. You will personally own regional responsibilities for supporting, standardising and uplifting Production IT systems, aligning sites with central security initiatives and requirements.

In this role, you can be based at our Leeds Head Office or a production site. This is a remote-first role with 50–70% travel within your region.

How you will make an impact

You’ll join the Production IT Infrastructure & Security Support Team, taking regional responsibility for Production IT and Security across assigned sites. Leveraging your expertise in Production IT (OT) infrastructure, networks, servers, and clients, you’ll work closely with site IT technicians, central infrastructure solutions, Security Operations and the CISO to drive continuous improvements, maintenance and security initiatives. You’ll also align standards, business continuity plans, and patching requirements with senior stakeholders to ensure robust and consistent operations.

  • Leading and engaging sites on IT security patch plans and maintenance, NIS2 requirements and actions, incident response and standardisation assistance.
  • Supporting and uplifting Production IT (OT) infrastructure across sites, aligning with central security initiatives and requirements.
  • Ensuring robust disaster recovery strategies and testing are in place and maintained.
  • Monitoring and reporting on regional security posture, risks and mitigation plans.
  • Contributing to harmonised ways of working and documentation across regions.
What will make you successful

You may have an educational background in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Most importantly, you bring several years of professional experience in Production IT Infrastructure and Security—including servers and backups, firewalls, and networks—or a strong background in FMCG OT production environments with hands‑on implementation and/or maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of NIS2, NIST, and IEC 62443‑3 standards, along with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining disaster recovery strategies. Expertise in risk assessment and business continuity planning is essential to ensure critical operations continue during disruptions. Strong communications skills are key, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.

What do we offer?

We’re committed to supporting your growth and development, offering internal and external training opportunities. You’ll enjoy a competitive salary, 26 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays, matched pension contributions up to 6%, life assurance, and bonus scheme. We also provide a company car, BUPA Healthcare, and flexible benefits.
