We are seeking an experienced Technology Lawyer to join a fast-growing consultancy at the intersection of data, technology, and private equity. This is a strategic role, working closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders to shape product development, manage IP rights, and navigate emerging areas such as AI governance.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance, IP protection, and ownership of tech assets.
• Advise on product development and licensing, balancing client needs with internal reuse strategies.
• Lead on IP strategy, including drafting narratives around tech ownership and safeguarding proprietary rights.
• Support AI governance initiatives, including risk management and participation in governance committees.
• Manage and mentor contract support lawyers, including offshore teams.
• Drive legal processes that enable scalability and innovation.

• 5 - 10 PQE qualified lawyer with strong experience in technology law.
• Background in private practice and/or in-house roles.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to build trusted relationships across teams.
• Interest or experience in AI governance and emerging tech issues.
