Solution Architect

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Solutions Architect to deliver cutting‑edge solutions within a major digital transformation and eCommerce programme for a leading UK consumer business.

The Solutions Architect will join an established and mature Architecture function, working across large‑scale customer‑facing applications, digital platforms and eCommerce solutions, helping deliver modern, scalable and best‑in‑class technical solutions within a complex enterprise environment.

Working under an Enterprise Architect for eCommerce, the Solutions Architect will be responsible for producing high and low‑level architectural designs, working to established architectural standards and governance frameworks, and collaborating closely with technical SMEs, software engineering teams and business stakeholders. The role will have a particular focus on front‑end technologies, digital customer journeys and headless eCommerce architecture.

• Significant previous experience working as a Solutions Architect within enterprise‑scale environments
• Strong background in application architecture, software solutions and digital platforms
• Experience delivering architecture across eCommerce, retail or customer‑facing technology environments
• Strong knowledge of front‑end applications, customer journeys and digital experience platforms
• Experience working within headless commerce / headless eCommerce architectures
• Experience working across complex enterprise systems and distributed environments
• Exposure to modern architecture standards, governance frameworks and best practices
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and technical leadership skills
• Experience working closely with engineering, product and delivery teams
