The SAP RTR Specialist will be accountable for supporting the development and driving forward the overall product strategy for the SAP S4/HANA technology platform, that will act as the foundation to our digital transformation at a global level over the next decade.

As a SAP S4/HANA technology expert, the role holder will provide strategic and technical consultancy, guidance, and advice to senior stakeholders setting both the platform strategy and design. They will also partner with IT technology colleagues and System Integrators.

The role will seek opportunities to re‑engineer processes and re‑architect solutions to deliver high quality, innovative, fully architected & strategic solutions. This will be accomplished by executing key initiatives through the full project management lifecycle working with internal and external IT professionals.

• Collaborate with senior business and IT stakeholders working alongside the Senior Product Manager to develop the product strategy aligning it with the overall business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor and build and maintain relationships with IT colleagues and senior stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensure cost‑effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs and respond with agility to changing business priorities.
• Complete comprehensive assessments of the existing SAP landscape, evaluating its effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with business goals. Identify opportunities for improvement and develop a roadmap for application modernization (including the use of AI agents and automation). Present the final assessment to Design Authority and Steerco.
• Use specialist technology and business process knowledge to define & govern project scope in the OTC space and complete deliverables in agreed timelines. Manage backlog items from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners, build relationships, and ensure delivery of high‑quality services and solutions. Evaluate proposals and conduct technical configuration/customization of solutions that meet our customers’ needs and provide a great user experience aligned with clean core principles.
• Work with other teams, ensuring smooth transition and user acceptance of transformed applications.
• Bring insights of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to enable teams to assess and recommend suitable tools, frameworks, and methodologies to drive efficiency, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
• Ensure all products supporting the business are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, and external regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Work with the support organization to troubleshoot incidents and escalations, providing resolution to break‑fix issues. Demonstrate the ability to resolve complex issues, manage user relationships, and deliver. Proactively seek ways to reduce the volume of support work, identify common/recurring issues, and propose improvements.
