Netcompany is looking for talented Lead Dev Ops Engineers to join our growing Cloud Operations Team and help enhance the support, delivery, and evolution of our Netcompany Platforms solutions. In this role, you will build high‑performing, resilient, and secure services for our clients, working alongside a skilled and forward‑thinking engineering community.
Responsibilities and Leadership ExpectationsAs a hands‑on Lead Dev Ops Engineer, you will design, implement, and operate cloud‑based solutions for complex enterprise environments and high‑profile clients. You will lead Dev Ops strategy, drive platform modernisation, and implement best practices across cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and observability.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive Dev Ops best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, engaging both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Design, build, and operate cloud‑native platforms in Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and identity & access management.
- Hands‑on experience implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerisation, and platform operations.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Power Shell, Python, Bash, or Go.
- Design and implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK/EFK.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Design and implement high‑availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with multi‑cloud and hybrid‑cloud architectures.
- Knowledge of Fin Ops and cloud cost optimisation practices.
- Implement Dev Sec Ops principles and security controls within CI/CD pipelines.
- Build developer platforms and self‑service capabilities.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance.
- Willingness to travel within the UK when required.
