LIMS Implementation Specialist at DedalusAs the LIMS Implementation Specialist, you will work as part of the LIMS deployment team, helping clients implement and support new Dedalus Laboratory Information Management systems effectively and efficiently. You will work closely with Project Managers to follow a standard deployment methodology with specific deliverables within very tight timescales. You will support clients in system setup, configuration, knowledge transfer, issue management, validation testing and business change activities.

- Engage in all stages of the deployment project and keep the client and the deployment project teams fully informed, trained and equipped to implement our solution offerings by supporting appropriate solution workshops and training sessions.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to our clients and deployment project teams when product questions, issues, or changes are raised/escalated.
- Review high‑level, functional, or detailed designs for upcoming changes to the product.
- Write or update relevant knowledge materials to ensure peers have up‑to‑date knowledge on the solution for all queries, issues, and changes raised.
- Configure, validate, and support all environments used for demonstrations and training/workshops.
- Conduct and support the configuration and validation of the customers deployment/training environments for training, testing and go‑live activities.
- Assist our clients and deployment project teams in their setup and configuration of local deployment environments by imparting knowledge and empowering them to lead by example.
- Be involved in multiple, complex deployments covering a typical project life cycle from early engagement through to go‑live and post go‑live activities.
- Extensive background in at least one Pathology discipline (Blood Transfusion, Microbiology, and Blood Sciences).
- Familiarity with the setup and configuration of healthcare systems and ability to conduct effective knowledge transfer and training to high standards.
- Experience working on multiple, complex tasks and projects to conclusion, with an understanding and application of a broad knowledge of common principles, good practices, and procedures in specialised areas.
- Ability to adapt information to audiences, explain difficult issues clearly, establish consensus, and attain agreement.
- Act as a liaison between clients and Dedalus, providing insight and advice concerning the scope of the solution offerings and high‑level benefits to be achieved.
- Interpret the client’s needs, assess the full requirements, and identify good practices and opportunities to realize real benefits.
- Effective communication skills collaborating with people at all levels with the ability to manage expectations effectively.
