Senior Cloud Engineer; AWS

Location: Leeds, Hybrid (2 days in HQ, 3 days remote)

Meaningful, real enterprise scale work operating with a talented Cloud centre of excellence. This is NOT a support role. The role will help build, optimise, and evolve a modern cloud platform supporting critical business services across multiple international markets.

Suited to Dev Ops Engineers and/or AWS Cloud Platform Engineers that really enjoying leveraging IAC (TF / CDK / Cloud formation) and Automation. We are open to Senior’s looking to work on an enterprise level; alternatively Cloud Engineers that are looking to grow their careers.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing, building, and managing secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud environments
• Driving cloud transformation initiatives, migrating legacy platforms to cloud-native solutions
• Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and automation tooling
• Partnering with Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deliver resilient and secure production platforms
• Championing cloud best practices, governance, compliance, and operational excellence
• Optimising cloud performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across the estate

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience delivering cloud transformation and migration programmes
• Strong hands-on AWS expertise across core services including EC2, S3, Lambda, containers, and serverless technologies
• Experience building and operating cloud-native solutions at scale
• Knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automation
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks including ISO and NIST
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
