Lead Delivery Engineer, Technology Directorate

Permanent

Full Time

Flexible Working Options:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Azure and M365 Specialist to join the Digital Workplace team. This role will work as part of the wider Microsoft 365 team within Digital Workplace, a function responsible for delivering and supporting the collaboration, productivity and information management services used across the Bank. The team owns and supports core Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, and related information governance capabilities, alongside specialist information management and preservation platforms.
A typical day could start with a sprint stand-up with the wider team, checking progress against current priorities and agreeing how to unblock delivery. You might then join project meetings with stakeholders, take part in solution design conversations with technical colleagues, or raise change requests for product or service changes. At lunch time, you could head over to the office canteen to have a break with your colleagues, then head to an event organised by an employee network.

For the second half of the day, you might be investigating incidents impacting the team's Azure-hosted solutions, troubleshooting service issues and identifying improvements to prevent recurrence. Finally, you might dedicate some time to review upcoming changes from Microsoft to identify risks and opportunities.
