Join us as a Rescue Underwriter in our Rescue Portfolio Optimisation Team. Green Flag has a legacy of being a strong brand in the Rescue market – we’re looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated underwriter to help grow our brands and offerings.
What You'll Be Doing- Support analysis and monitoring of the Rescue Products performance
- Assess Underwriting criteria, wordings & emerging risks
- Enact and enhance our underwriting controls
- Review and maintain our underwriting documentation and product details
- Liaise with our trading teams to deliver great customer and commercial outcomes
- Work closely with our claims & operation teams to manage indemnity control
- Deal with underwriting referrals
Our hybrid model offers a ‘best of both worlds’ approach. When you’ll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend 50% of their time in the office.
What You’ll Need- Strong technical underwriting expertise
- Understanding of relevant insurance regulations & legislation
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Understanding of indemnity control
- Ability to innovate & work in a fast‑paced environment, working with a breadth of initiatives
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Great communication and teamwork
- Understanding of Excel or other analytical tools
