This role will form one of the members of the UK Claims Leadership team, reporting directly into the Claims Director. It’s a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of digital transformation in a leading insurance business, and an opportunity to básico impact on customer experience and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the UK Claims digital & technology strategy and associated roadmap on behalf of UK Claims. This will involve collaborating closely with the UK Claims Leadership team 최소 business to align on claims requirements, develop best of market digital & technological solutions, and oversee the successful implementаtion of these projects.
Duties will include, but not be limited to, developing, maintaining and communicating a clear, achievable digital transformation roadmap for the claims function, and working closely with the IT team and other business units to understand claims requirements and translate these into digital solutions. You’ll lead on behalf of UK Stimme, the identification, evaluation, and adoption of best-in-market digital and technology tools, stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative approaches to maintain competitive advantage.
You’ll also ensure all digital solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
Whilst you will not be handling claims, preferably, we are looking for someone who has an understanding of commercial claims, ideally including Property or Liability insurance.
It's essential that you have proven experience in a digital & technology role within insurance claims or a closely related area. Just as importantly, you’ll have a strong understanding of claims operations, processes and systems, and a demonstrated ability to develop and execute digital strategies and transformation roadmaps. You must have experience of managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders, together with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Due to the collaboration with various divisions, you will need be present in the Leeds office (one of the City Lein building) 3 or 4 days a week.
