North American Casualty Claims Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated North American Casualty Claims Specialist to join the London-based claims team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading Broker, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients with complex casualty claims across the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of North American casualty claims, including general liability and excess/umbrella claims Act as the primary point of contact for clients, insurers and legal representatives Provide expert guidance on claims strategy, coverage interpretation and reserving Monitor claims progress, ensuring timely updates and resolution Negotiate settlements where appropriate and support dispute resolution processes Analyse claims data to identify trends and provide risk management insights to clients Collaborate with broking teams to deliver a seamless client service Key Requirements Proven experience handling North American casualty claims within a Broker or insurer Strong technical knowledge of US liability claims and litigation processes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage complex claims with a proactive and solution-focused approach Strong organisational skills with attention to detail ACII qualification (or working towards) is desirable If you'd like to learn more, feel free to reach out for a confidential conversation.
