Responsibilities
  • Manage a full caseload of commercial litigation files.
  • Assist senior colleagues with all steps of multitrack litigation.
  • Provide accurate and practical legal advice to clients on all aspects of commercial litigation law.
  • Excellent client care skills and the ability to build good rapport.
  • Play an active role in business development and marketing activities, contributing to the firm’s profile in the market.
  • Conduct due diligence on every file.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet targets for fees and time recording.
  • Ensure aged debt and matter balances are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
  • Uphold the firm’s reputation for excellence.
Essential qualifications and skills
  • Minimum 3 years PQE within this area of law.
  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in case management systems and IT tools.
