Oculus Legal Group is partnering with a highly regarded regional law firm that is continuing to strengthen its Residential Development team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a commercially focused practice advising across the full lifecycle of land and property development.
The team provides strategic legal support from initial site assembly and acquisition through to complex development structures and disposal strategies. With strong expertise in promotion, collaboration and joint venture agreements, as well as planning and energy-related matters, the team works closely with landowners, developers and investors to deliver commercially sound, forward-thinking solutions.
You will also collaborate closely with Commercial Property and New Build colleagues to ensure seamless support across multi-phase and large-scale development projects.
The firm is open to candidates currently practising in Residential Property or Commercial Property who are looking to transition into Real Estate Development. This is a genuine opportunity to broaden your technical exposure and develop within a specialist development-focused team, with full support and structured progression.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on site assembly, acquisitions and disposals of development land.
- Draft and negotiate option agreements, promotion agreements and conditional contracts.
- Act on collaboration and joint venture agreements.
- Advise on development agreements, overage agreements and easements.
- Support clients on energy-related development matters.
- Assist with planning agreements and work alongside planning specialists.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to a broad client base.
