Job Description & How to Apply Below

Leeds (minimum 3 days in the office – Thursday is team day)

Interview process:
Two stages (at least one in-person)

We’re working with a highly regarded, national law firm to recruit an experienced Paralegal into their Real Estate & Projects team in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established property team acting for registered providers, management companies, developers, landowners, investors and charities on a broad range of development and transactional matters.

If you have solid conveyancing experience and want to step into more complex development-led work, this could be the move.

The Role

You’ll support Partners and Solicitors while building your own caseload. The work is varied and development-focused, including:

  • Assisting on development transactions and land agreements
  • Drafting transaction summaries and reports (including transfers and sectional agreements)
  • Reviewing due diligence searches and contributing to reports on title
  • Supporting development site acquisitions
  • Managing pre and post-completion formalities
  • Undertaking Land Registry applications and handling requisitions
  • Drafting ancillary documents including Deeds of Covenant and Transfers
  • Liaising directly with clients and third parties

The team has a genuinely collaborative structure and encourages involvement in business development and continued professional development.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years’ experience dealing with the conveyancing process
  • Strong drafting and reporting skills
  • Confident with Land Registry applications and post‑completion matters
  • Able to manage workload with limited supervision
  • Organised, methodical and detail‑focused
  • Comfortable working to deadlines
  • A law degree (minimum 2:2 or equivalent conversion) is expected.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond high-volume transactional conveyancing and gain exposure to development‑led, project‑based real estate work within a supportive and well-structured team.

If you’re interested, message me directly or send your CV across for a confidential discussion.
