Employment Solicitor (2-6 PQE)A leading national law firm is looking to appoint a technically strong Employment Solicitor to join its highly regarded Leeds team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer seeking high-quality work, genuine client exposure, and a supportive team environment where you will be encouraged to develop and progress.
Diverse client baseYou will advise a broad and diverse client base including company owners, senior managers, HR professionals, in-house counsel, public and private sector organisations, as well as senior employees and executives.
The work will cover the full spectrum of employment law, including:
- Contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Employment Tribunal litigation, including whistleblowing and discrimination claims
- Drafting employment contracts, policies and documentation
- Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters
- Dismissals, redundancy and restructuring projects
- Corporate support work including TUPE advice
- Assisting with and leading workplace investigations
- Supporting and contributing to business development initiatives
You will manage your own caseload (with appropriate supervision where required) and play an active role in building strong client and internal relationships.
Ideal candidate profileOur client always considers a broad range of candidates for any role. As a guide, they are looking for:
- A qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 2-6 years' PQE
- Experienced across contentious, advisory and transactional employment matters
- Confident managing a varied caseload and delivering commercially focused advice
- Comfortable working directly with clients and developing relationships
You will also ideally demonstrate:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative approach, whilst being able to work independently
- A flexible and proactive mindset
