Personal Injury Solicitor – Leeds
I'm currently working with a well-established legal services organisation that is looking to appoint an experienced and senior level Personal Injury Fee Earner into its Intermediate Track Team. This is a dual-capacity role, combining hands‑on case management with a technical leadership and mentoring remit and would suit a Solicitor or CILEX-qualified Lawyer who enjoys complex litigation work and supporting the development of others.
The RoleThis position offers a balance of fee-earning responsibility alongside a more strategic, technical contribution to the wider team. You will be trusted to manage your own caseload while acting as a go-to technical resource across the post‑litigation process.
Key aspects of the role include:- Managing a portfolio of Intermediate Track litigated cases, ensuring matters progress efficiently and in line with client and business objectives
- Providing technical guidance, supervision and mentoring to colleagues across the team
- Drafting high-quality legal documentation, including pleadings, interlocutory applications and supporting statements
- Advising on complex litigation issues, procedural strategy and risk
- Supporting team development through knowledge sharing and training delivery
- Ensuring compliance with professional standards, regulatory obligations and internal frameworks
- Working collaboratively with management to improve processes and enhance client outcomes
Skills:
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
- Strong experience managing a personal caseload
- Excellent drafting skills across pleadings, applications and supporting documents
- Comfortable working to performance targets and KPIs
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to provide clear, practical advice
- Commercially aware with strong problem‑solving capability
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in team success
- Interest in emerging technologies such as AI (advantageous but not essential)
