Our client, a multi award-winning, independent law firm, is seeking to appoint an experienced Insolvency Solicitor at up to partner level to spearhead their expanding Insolvency practice in Leeds. This role offers an exciting prospect for an ambitious insolvency professional looking to make a significant impact in the Yorkshire legal market.

• Lead and grow the insolvency team in Leeds, establishing the firm’s presence within the local market
• Manage a diverse caseload involving creditor services, distressed asset acquisition & disposal, insolvency litigation, and corporate and personal insolvency
• Advise clients including insolvency practitioners, turnaround advisers, lenders, and management teams on a broad range of insolvency issues
• Represent clients in procedures such as administrations, liquidations, receiverships, and company voluntary arrangements
• Provide strategic advice to businesses and directors to avoid formal insolvency proceedings where possible
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities in the Yorkshire region

• Proven insolvency experience as a Solicitor, ideally at senior or partner level
• Strong presence and contacts within the Yorkshire market
• Demonstrable leadership skills and a track record of building and managing a team
• Excellent client relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently while being a team player
• Ambition to grow the Leeds operation and actively contribute to the firm’s strategic goals
